FILMER LE TRAVAIL

Filmer le travail festival, organized by the Filmer le travail association, was created by three local institutions : l’Université de Poitiers, l’Espace Mendès-France (science and multimedia culture center) and l’ARACT Poitou-Charentes (association for the improvement of working conditions).

This event is co-organized by the Région Poitou-Charentes and the city of Poitiers.

The main ambition of the festival consists in opening a space to discuss and exchange between social workers and social partners, scientists, movie directors, audiovisual professionals and the audience, about work and cinema : through the movies talking about it and about cinema and social reality.

The festival team organizes several retrospectives, conferences, meetings and film competitions.

The international competition is open to every films (fictions, documentaries, experimental or scientist movies) talking about the work, the professional and social reality.

Four prices :
- Grand prix  Filmer le travail – 3 000 euros
- Prix spécial du public – 1 500 euros (audience )
- Prix de la « Restitution du travail contemporain » – 1 500 euros
- Prix de la « Valorisation de la recherche » - 1 500 euros

The movies must be in original version and subtitled in French or English if the main language is not French. They must have been directed during the years 2011 or 2012.

Inscription before October 19th, 2012. Register online and two dvd copies must be sent by mail to :
